Winter Three Peaks!

My next challenge!

The national three peaks is a huge undertaking by anyone during normal months (summer). However, for an 8yr old to do them is a big ask.
An even bigger ask is to do them in Winter conditions. 3-peaks-mapNormally they are completed in 24hrs. I am a realist and as such I intend to climb the mountains on separate days with rest days in between. After all, I am only 8yrs old.

So, starting in January 2016, I will start training and then attempt the first peak, if the conditions are right. During February I will attempt to scale Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike during my half term break.

So what is the National Three peaks?

They are the highest mountain of England, Wales and Scotland.

Ben Nevis in Western Scotland, 1,344 metres (4,409 ft)

Snowdon in North Wales, 1,085 metres (3,560 ft)

Snowdon in North Wales, 1,085 metres (3,560 ft)

Scafell Pike in North-Western England, 978 metres (3,209 ft)

As well as achieving these peaks for my own personal gain, I want to inspire other children to go for their goals and realise that they can become whoever they want to be.

I also want to help a Welsh based UK not for profit organisation called Hope4Families.org. HOPE4Families is a not for profit organisation setup to build stronger foundations for families in marriage and relationships, parenting and financial difficulty.
