As part of the book series, Joshua went underground in one of Wales largest Iron ore mines. This involved a 50 metre abseil through the air into the caverns. The exploration went through many tunnels and chambers around the mines. Joshua like the bright golden colour of the rock where the water had seeped through the rocks turning them into a painted gold colour.
The way out of the mine involved a 40metre scramble up a steep incline back to the surface. As we got out of the mine, the sun was setting and as you can see, looked beautiful.
